Sheridan County, Kansas

Sheridan County is up in northwest Kansas, with Hoxie as the county seat. It’s pretty rural out here, mostly flat farmland. Wheat farming is big, and there’s some cattle ranching too.
The county has a couple of nice fishing spots, like Sheridan State Fishing Lake. Sheridan County is also known for its friendly, no-fuss atmosphere.
You won’t find a lot of frills, but you will find good people and great sunsets. U.S. Highway 24 runs through the county. This makes it a straight shot across the plains.
