Thomas County, Kansas

Thomas County is out in northwest Kansas, with Colby as the main town. It’s high plains country, mostly flat with some gentle hills.
Colby has a community college, so it has a bit more going on than some other small towns. The county has this cool Prairie Museum of Art and History.
Farming is the main industry here. There’s lots of wheat and some cattle. Summers are hot, winters can be freezing with some serious snowstorms. Interstate 70 and U.S. Highway 24 cross paths here, so it’s easy to get to.
