Webster County, Kentucky

Webster County sits in western Kentucky, not far from the Illinois border. It’s home to about 13,000 folks spread across rolling farmland and small towns.
Dixon serves as the county seat, but Providence is the biggest town. Coal mining shaped much of the county’s history, though nowadays agriculture is king.
The annual Coal Festival in Providence draws crowds with its parade and live music. Although coal mining once fueled the local economy, local fairs and festivals still bring people together.
