Weston County, Wyoming

Weston County is perched in the northeastern corner of Wyoming. It’s where the Black Hills spill over from South Dakota. Newcastle is the county seat, a small town with a lot of heart.
This is ranching country. You’ll see more cows than people most days. The county has some interesting history. It was a hotbed of activity during the Black Hills gold rush. These days, things are quieter.
But there’s still plenty to see and do. Devils Tower National Monument is just a stone’s throw away. Same as Crazy Horse. The prairies here are beautiful in their own stark way. Locals are proud of their rural lifestyle. They’ll tell you there’s no better place to watch a sunset or see the Milky Way at night.
