Wolfe County is a slice of eastern Kentucky wilderness. It’s small. Only about 7,000 people call it home. The Red River Gorge cuts through part of the county.
Campton, the county seat, is your classic small town. The Swift Silver Mine is supposedly hidden somewhere in the hills. This has sparked treasure hunts for centuries.
