Ness County, Kansas

Ness County is out in west-central Kansas. It’s pretty flat around here. Farming is the main business, no surprises there. Wheat and cattle are the usual suspects.
Ness City is the county seat. It’s known for its striking Old Ness County Bank building—nicknamed the “Skyscraper of the Plains” (even though it’s only three stories tall).
U.S. Highway 283 runs through, keeping things connected. With a population of just under 3,000, life moves at its own pace here. Ness County has quiet landscapes, friendly communities, and a slice of classic Kansas living.
