Power County, Idaho
Power County is in southeastern Idaho. American Falls is the county seat, which is named after a waterfall that’s now under a reservoir. In terms of size, Power County isn’t big by any means
The Snake River runs through here. It’s the lifeblood of the region, which includes the massive reservoir in the north. The American Falls Dam changed everything but now is a top spot for sturgeon fishing.
The county’s pretty flat so you’ll see a lot of potato fields, wheat and barley. But you can see mountains in the distance. The reservoir is also a big draw for fishing and boating.
