Washington County, Idaho
Washington County is in western Idaho with Weiser as the county seat. It’s a small town with a big fiddle contest. Seriously. The county’s named after George Washington, of course.
The county stretches from the Snake River to the mountains. It’s diverse. You’ve got farmland in the valleys and forests in the hills. The Weiser River runs through it which is popular for fishing and floating.
Similar to most of Idaho, agriculture is a main driver of the economy. This area has lots of onion fields and fruit orchards. It’s rural. Really rural. People like their space and their privacy but so do most of us.
