Jerome County, Idaho

Jerome County is smack in the middle of southern Idaho. It’s mostly flat, with some rolling hills. The Snake River Canyon forms its southern border. It’s a sight to behold.
Jerome, the county seat, started as a railway town. Now it’s all about agriculture. Dairy farms are everywhere. You can’t miss the smell. The county’s known for its massive cheese factory.
Summers are hot and dry, which is perfect for growing crops. Winters can be tough, but nothing locals can’t handle. The Oregon Trail passed through these parts. You can still see wagon ruts if you know where to look.
