Madison County is in eastern Idaho. As expected, The county’s named after James Madison. Rexburg is the county seat and is home to BYU-Idaho college.
Henry’s Fork flows through here so it’s popular for fishing and floating. The Teton Mountains loom to the east. They’re a constant backdrop for visitors and locals.
Farmland stretches as far as the eye can see. Potatoes are king. You’ll see massive potato cellars everywhere. Mormons settled this area in the late 1800s. Their influence is still strong, as family values matter here.
