Nez Perce County, Idaho
Nez Perce County is in northwest Idaho along the Washington state border. Lewiston is the county seat. It sits where the Snake and Clearwater rivers meet. It’s the only seaport in Idaho. Weird, right?
As part of the Palouse region, there are rolling hills covered in wheat fields stretching for miles. The soil’s super fertile. Winters are milder so the growing season is a bit longer. That’s thanks to the low elevation.
